Leah Pearson of Park Rapids, and recently Gothenburg, Sweden, and Charles Kelton of London,U.K., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Tim and Cathy Pearson of Park Rapids and Frances Kelton of London.
Leah attended Park Rapids Area High School and Concordia College in Moorhead as a post-secondary education option student, with a major in English literature. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Redcliffe College in Gloucester, U.K. in theology with an emphasis in cross-cultural ministry.
She has been working in Christian ministry in Europe and is currently starting a business in Park Rapids, Whispers of Light Photography.
Charles graduated from high school in London and the University of Greenwich, London, earning a BA with honors in web development. He works as a web developer in London.

The wedding is planned for June 1, 2013 in the bride's parents' backyard.
