Victoria Lutz, Hannah Wolff, Lydia Lutz and the 4 x 800-meter relay team earned all-conference honors with first-place finishes as the Park Rapids girls track and field team finished third at Tuesday's Mid-State Conference meet at Wadena.
The 4 x 800 relay team of Laura Haugland, Kyja Penning, Kayla Stursa and Victoria Lutz led off the meet with a winning time of 10:17.35. Victoria Lutz won the 800 run in 2:26.47 and Lydia Lutz took first in the 3,200 run in 12:03.94. Wolff took first in the triple jump with a distance of 32 feet, 4 inches as the Panthers compiled 87 points. Detroit Lakes won the team title with 191 points while Staples-Motley was second with 126 points.
Haugland added a runner-up showing in the high jump by clearing 4-10 and the 4 x 100 relay team of Tracey Peterson, Sarah Guida, Leah Goetz and Rachel Thelen took second in 53.82 to earn all-conference honorable mention honors.
Thelen and Shannon Taylor went 4-5 in the 100 dash, Taylor finished sixth in the 200 dash, Stursa took fifth in the 800 run, Tiffany Deitchler finished fourth in the 3,200 run and sixth in the 1,600 run, Wolff was fifth in the 300 hurdles and high jump, Thelen and Penning went 4-5 in the pole vault, and Guida took fourth in the long jump for the Panthers' other individual placewinners.
In the boys meet, runner-up showings by the 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 relay teams and Mike McDowell in the high jump led the Panthers to fifth place with 52 points.

Nate Mack, Caleb Brown, Sean Hayes and David McAllister clocked a 47.50 in the 4 x 100 relay, a 1:37.75 in the 4 x 200 relay and a 3:37.85 in the 4 x 400 relay while McDowell was second in the high jump with a height of 5-10. That group earned all-conference honorable mention honors.
Also scoring points for Park Rapids were Brown (third) and Mack (fourth) in the pole vault, Jake Grimes (fourth in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles), Kyle McBrady (sixth in the 110 hurdles), and the sixth-place 4 x 800 relay team of McDowell, Josh Davis, Nate Gebhard and Ben Sperle.
Detroit Lakes won the team title with 164 points and Pequot Lakes was second with 130 points.
The Panthers will prepare for the Subsection 8-29A meet at Pequot Lakes Thursday.
