The Park Rapids Lakes Area Fishing Expo will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 12 at Riverside United Methodist Church. Admission is free.
Featured guest speaker is Chip Leer, a 2019 inductee into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and TV host of the world's most prestigious walleye tournament circuit, the National Walleye Tour.
Doors opens to the public at 6 p.m., with a welcome by Pastor Chip Nielsen at 6:30 p.m.
Leer will present a "Catching More Walleyes" seminar at 6:50 p.m.
Master of ceremonies is Kev Jackson, host and producer of "Fishing Paul Bunyan Country."

At 7:30 p.m., there will be a panelist discussion with regional fishing guides, including Jason Durham, Brian Brosdahl, Jason Freed and Paul Nelson.
An open house-style gathering begins at 8:30 p.m. Learn new techniques, ask questions, book trips. Learn about the latest equipment and how to protect the area's fishing resources.
