A robbery was reported at the Cenex station on Highway 71 North at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police chief Terry Eilers, a male came in telling the clerk to put money from the till into a black bag. The suspect was displaying a gun, although it may not have been real, Eilers said.
Approximately $1,000 was taken, Eilers said.
The suspect left in a silver four-door car with another person, heading south on Highway 71.
