Crookston won seven of the first 10 events and had a 46-42 lead after six events before the Park Rapids girls swimming and diving team rallied for a 97-83 win at Crookston Tuesday night.
Allycia Zinke's winning time of 1:13.09 in the 100-meter freestyle helped the Panthers tie this dual meet at 52-52.
Leah Meinert and Mandy Schirmers then went 1-2 in the 500 freestyle with respective times of 6:58.79 and 7:09.11 to give the Panthers a 64-56 advantage. Park Rapids would hold that lead the rest of the way.
A runner-up 2:11.28 by Kaitlyn Nelson, Melissa Haas, Meinert and Zinke in the 200 freestyle relay and a runner-up 1:19.98 by Taylor Ondracek in the 100 backstroke helped the Panthers maintain a 77-73 edge.
Alexa Zunich-Andersen's winning time of 1:32.17 in the 100 breaststroke and a first-place time of 4:51.11 by the 400 freestyle relay team of Kyja Penning, Meinert, Schirmers and Zinke helped seal the win.

The Pirates won the first four events and led 32-30. Park Rapids stayed close with runner-up times by Ondracek, Zunich-Andersen, Penning and Nelson in the 200 medley relay (2:29.25); Meinert in the 200 freestyle (2:37.34); Haas in the 200 individual medley (3:02.52); and Penning in the 50 freestyle (31.89).
Penning took first in diving with 156.05 points before Crookston went 1-2 in the 100 butterfly to build a 46-42 lead.
The Panthers then won four of the final six events to rally for the win and even their dual record at 2-2.
Park Rapids hosted Perham Thursday night and will host Bemidji Tuesday night in a pair of dual meets.
