Landon Kohlrusch and Justin Dennis earned all-conference honors in leading the Park Rapids boys golf team to runner-up honors at Friday's Mid-State Conference meet at Wadena.
Kohlrusch finished in fourth place with an 82 and Dennis was fifth with an 83 in leading the Panthers to a 337 team score. Detroit Lakes won the conference title with a 333.
Ben Brandon's 84 and Justin Borchart's 88 rounded out the team score as the Panthers turned in their best showing at the conference meet since taking runner-up honors in 1999.
Wadena-Deer Creek's Matt Kramer claimed med-alist honors with a 3-over par 75.
In the girls meet, the Panthers finished fourth with a 412. Eleonore Water-keyn led Park Rapids with a 96. Lexi Aho's 101, Megan Goebel's 107 and 108s by Megan Lawrence and Mindy Lawrence rounded out Park Rapids' team score.

Danelle Olson shot a 6-over par 78 to earn medalist honors and lead Detroit Lakes to the title with a 343.

Borchart's 81 and Dennis' 83 led the Panthers to a 346 at the Moorhead Invitational last Tuesday.
Brandon's 90 and Adam Eskola's 92 rounded out the Panthers' 10th-place finish in this 13-team event.
Aaron Wheeler carded a 69 to lead Moorhead to the team title with a 283.
