The Park Rapids girls cross country team ran to the team title at Bagley, the Park Rapids girls swimming and diving team rallied for a win at Crookston and the Park Rapids volleyball team lost a close match to Pequot Lakes in high school sports action Tuesday. Tuesday's girls tennis match between Pequot Lakes and Park Rapids was postponed.

Lydia Lutz, Victoria Lutz, Sophie Shogren, Tiffany Deitchler and Kayla Stursa all finished in the top eight spots in leading the Park Rapids girls cross country team to the team title at Tuesday's Bagley/Fosston Invitational at Bagley. Park Rapids compiled 21 points to easily defeat runner-up Bemidji's 65 points for the top spot in this nine-team meet. The Panthers, who also took first at the season-opening Wadena-Deer Creek Invitational, are ranked No. 5 in this week's state Class A poll. The Park Rapids boys cross country team fielded an incomplete squad.

At Crookston, the Park Rapids girls swimming and diving team rallied from an early deficit for a 97-83 victory. That win lifted the Panthers to 2-2 in dual meets this season.

The Park Rapids volleyball team held a 2-1 lead before Pequot Lakes rallied for a 26-24, 19-25, 16-25, 25-22, 15-8 Mid-State Conference victory. The Panthers fell to 0-3 against conference opponents and 5-9 overall with the loss.
