Micah Richards' season-high 31.50 all-around score led the Park Rapids-Nevis gymnastics team to its best performance of the season Thursday night.
Richards' 8.60 in vault, 7.95 in floor exercise and 7.05 on balance beam led the Panthers in a 141.35 to 114.20 loss to Detroit Lakes at the Area High School gym. The 114.20 points easily surpassed the Panthers' previous season high of 105.95 at Perham two nights earlier.
Megan Lawrence's 8.40, Emily Klingenberg's 7.70 and Emily Potts' 7.05 rounded out the Panthers' 31.75 team score in vault.
Kyja Penning led the Panthers with an 8.20 on uneven parallel bars. Annessa Feder added a 6.60 and Lawrence had a 6.55 for a 29.25 team score.
In floor, Penning's 7.75, Lawrence's 6.45 and Leah Meinert's 5.25 led to a 27.40.

The Panthers had a 25.80 on beam with Feder's 6.70, Lawrence's 6.45 and Mein-ert's 5.60 rounding out the team total.
Lawrence added a 27.85 in all-around, which was won by Detroit Lakes' Courtney Einerson with a 36.20.
