Michael Nelson's game-winning single in the top of the seventh inning rallied Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton to a 9-8 victory over the Park Rapids baseball team Thursday afternoon.
Curtis Tolle's two-run single and Tom Juberian's RBI single gave the Panthers a 4-1 lead in the second inning before D-G-F scored six unearned runs in the third to take a 7-4 lead.
The Panthers scored three times in the fourth and once in the fifth for an 8-7 lead before D-G-F scored twice in the seventh to pull off the win.
Tolle went 3 for 4 and Kyle Blanchard went 3 for 4 with two RBI to lead the Panthers, who had 12 hits, but committed seven errors leading to eight unearned runs. Juberian and Eli Donatelle had two hits each and Brandon Gartner scored twice as the Panthers suffered their third consecutive loss to fall to 13-4 on the year.
Gartner took the loss in relief of Zach Lehrke, who gave up only one earned run over the first 3 2/3 innings. Gartner allowed two un-earned runs in the seventh in falling to 3-1 on the season.
