Heather Tretbar scored on Amy Luther's bases-loaded fly ball in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Park Rapids fastpitch softball team a 5-4 win in the Section 8AA Subsection 4 title game Thursday at Park Rapids.
An error gave Bagley a 2-0 lead in the first before the Panthers tied the game in the bottom of the inning on singles by Carly Helfrich, Luther and Amber Row-land.
After Bagley took a 3-2 lead in the third, Leeza Tostenson and Tretbar walked in the fifth and both scored when Helfrich's grounder was misplayed.
Bagley used another error to score the tying run in the sixth before Tretbar's lead-off double, Helfrich's single and Danielle Dent's walk loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the seventh. Tretbar scored the winning run on Luther's fly ball to center field.
Helfrich and Rowland each had two hits and Luther allowed only three hits for the Panthers, who improved to 16-5 on the season.
