Beth Karen Otteson of Portland, N.D. and Marvin Ray Vredenburg, Nevis announce their engagement.
Parents are Neil and Karen Otteson, Portland, N.D. and Gladys Vredenburg and the late Orville Vredenburg, Akeley.
Beth is employed at Hubbard County Social Services and Marv is employed at Hubbard County Engineering Department, both in Park Rapids.
A Sept. 10 wedding and reception are planned. There will also be a celebration dance at the Park Rapids American Legion from 7 p.m. to midnight.
