A 25-year-old Ottertail woman is dead following a Friday night crash with a charter bus on Highway 10 in Becker County.
The crash occurred on dry pavement shortly after 11 p.m. Friday west of Detroit Lakes at Highway 10 and 185th St., near the Forest Hills Golf Club.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the woman was northbound in a 2007 Ford Escape when she crossed Highway 10 into the path of an eastbound motor coach bus.
The bus, driven by Jason A. Cummings, 30, of Detroit Lakes, struck the vehicle in the driver's side door. The name of the victim has not been released by the Minnesota State Patrol.
There were 15 people on the bus. Cummings, the driver of the bus, was not injured. The 14 passengers on the bus had no documented injuries.

The Audubon police Department, Becker County Sheriff's Department, Detroit Lakes Police Department, Lake Park Police Department and St. Mary's EMS assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
