A Park Rapids man was injured in a rollover crash Jan. 23 in Hubbard County.
According to the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, a one-vehicle rollover was reported at 9:02 p.m. last Wednesday on State Hwy. 34 in Henrietta Township.
Responding deputies found an occupied vehicle in the ditch with extensive damage.
Investigation showed that Allen Entwistle, 52, of Park Rapids was driving a 1997 Ford Excursion westbound on Hwy. 34 when he approached another vehicle from behind. As he applied his brakes, his vehicle began to slide. Entwistle attempted to steer around the other vehicle, when he lost control and went into the ditch. The Ford overturned multiple times before coming to rest.
Entwistle was transported by North Memorial Health Ambulance to CHI St. Joseph’s Health in Park Rapids, where he was treated for his injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
