New pastor starts at Akeley UMC

The Minnesota Annual Conference has appointed Pastor Loren Ferch to the Akeley United Methodist Church. He began providing leadership to the congregation Sunday, July 6. The church is located one block south of the Highway 34/64 intersection. The past four years Loren has been serving in the Princeton area at Freshwaters United Methodist Church. In one sense Loren and his wife, Ann, are moving home because prior to pastoring in the Princeton area, Loren served as pastor of the Menahga and Sebeka United Methodist Churches for 14 years. Loren and Ann are glad to return and serve the welcoming and growing congregation in Akeley. Loren’s invitation is, “Come and grow with us and in your relationship with Jesus Christ.”
