The popular pig races that bring crowds to Nevis have been cancelled this year by the event organizer.

Nancy Lewis said the Nevis Chamber was notified recently that Gary Dauer, who brings pig racing to Nevis, is not going to travel to any out of town events this summer.

“We hope the pig races will return in 2022,” she said Friday.
