A Morton, Minn., woman is accused in Clay County District Court of selling a half-ounce of meth to a confidential informant and concealing the $2,000 she was paid in the underwear of a 17-year-old.
Waniyetu Winyan Bald-Eagle, 28, is charged with first-degree and fifth-degree controlled substance crime and child endangerment.

Moorhead police arranged a controlled buy between a confidential informant and Bald-Eagle on Aug. 14 at the rest stop near Moorhead on Interstate 94.
Bald-Eagle had three juveniles in her vehicle, two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old. The informant gave her $2,000 in exchange for the meth. Bald-Eagle handed the meth to a juvenile male, who then handed it to the informant, records say.

The Minnesota State Patrol stopped the vehicle and searched the occupants.
After the 17-year-old requested to use the restroom, an officer who accompanied the juvenile found the $2,000 in the teen's underwear.
Bald-Eagle later told police she hid the money there because she didn't think the juvenile would be searched.
The relationship between Bald-Eagle and the teens is not clear from the documents.
Bald-Eagle is being held in the Clay County Jail on $50,000 cash or bond.
