The body of a 58-year-old missing woman from Fertile, Minn., was found Saturday a half-mile from her home, Polk County officials said Saturday.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office received a report Saturday that Regina Larson had not been heard from since Wednesday, a release from the sheriff's office said. After a brief search, Larson's body was found in a ditch close to a grove of trees a ½-mile from her rural Fertile home, officials said. Foul play is not suspected, officials said, and the case remains under investigation.
The Minnesota State Patrol and Polk County EMS assisted on the scene.
