At 4:06 p.m. on Monday a T-bone accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 10 East and Ox Cart Trail in Detroit Lakes.
According to the State Patrol, the crash occurred when a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Rose Steele, 79, of Detroit Lakes, failed to yield the right of way when she drove onto Highway 10 from Ox Cart Trail.
The Cherokee collided with an eastbound 2005 Ford Taurus driven by Anne Welte, 29, of Perham. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and both were transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Innovis hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to the State Patrol.
