Meth found at Cass Lake residence, four arrested

Four people were arrested Tuesday after the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department and Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a Cass Lake residence.

Four people were arrested Tuesday after the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department and Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a Cass Lake residence.

         John Henry Wilke, 64, Terri Lynn Frazer, 53, and Ida Elizabeth Beaulieu, 29, were arrested on drug-related charges, according to a release from the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department. Elizabeth C. Jones, 28, was arrested for three outstanding warrants.

Law enforcement found methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Four juveniles were placed in protective custody as a result of the warrant, the release said.

All four defendants are being held in the Cass County Jail. Wilke, Frazer and Beaulieu are facing third and fifth-degree controlled substance charges and felony child endangerment; they have not yet appeared in court. Jones appeared in Cass County Court on Wednesday with a future court date set for Monday.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Pike Bay Police Department and Cass County Sheriff's Department assisted with the warrant. Leech Lake Tribal Police is asking anyone with information related to the sale or possession of narcotics within the Leech Lake Reservation to call (218) 335-8277 or email tips@llpolice.org .
