A Menahga man will make his first appearance Aug. 10 in Becker County District Court on a felony charge of defeating security on personalty.
Jeffrey Lee Baker, 47, of 52838 180th St., Menahga, has been charged in connection with a March 25 incident in Becker County.
On that day, Northwoods Bank of Park Rapids contacted the sheriff's department and notified them that the bank was missing some property that had been obtained as the result of a defaulted security agreement signed by the defendant. Later, the missing property was allegedly found at Baker's apartment.
