Menahga hosting Heroes Breakfast to honor local emergency personnel

Menahga School is hosting a Heroes Breakfast Wednesday, Sept. 11.
The breakfast will honor local emergency personnel who came forward to help with the Green Valley Fire.
The breakfast is from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Menahga School cafenasium.
Menahga K-12 students and staff will have an opportunity to show their appreciation to those local brave emergency workers who stepped forward to help the community in May.
Staff and students are encouraged to participate by creating thank you notes, posters or stopping by the breakfast to shake hands with local heroes.
Parents and community members are encouraged to organize groups of local emergency personnel to attend the breakfast (Menahga, Sebeka and Wolf Lake).
Menahga, Sebeka and Wolf Lake emergency organizations need to have a representative notify Jean Weyer with an approximate number of members who will attend the breakfast. Notify Weyer by Friday, Sept. 6, jweyer@menahga . k12.mn.us or 218-252-6178.
