The Menahga City Council held an emergency special meeting Tuesday to address three issues.
Mayor Joan Liimatta asked the council to approve Robyn Keranen as vice mayor. The motion passed 4-0, with council member Art Huebner absent.
The council agreed, again 4-0, to appoint Amanda Pachel as interim city clerk.
Lastly, the council authorized Liimatta, Keranen and Pachel to issue payments on behalf of the city. After the 4-0 vote, the meeting was adjourned.
