Mary Katherine Chalupsky, 65, of Park Rapids died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at St. Joseph's Area Health Services in Park Rapids.
She was born July 8, 1942 in Hutchinson to Raymond F. and Maxine (Hoffman) Chalupsky. She was stricken with cerebral palsy since birth. Shortly after the end of World War II, her family moved to Winsted. In 1957, they moved to Lake Henry and in 1964, to Park Rapids, living on Fish Hook River. In 1990, she moved to the Heartland Group Home on 6th Street. She made three trips to California, visiting Sea World and the San Diego Zoo.
She is survived by her brother, Ray (Shelly) of San Diego, two nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, Sept. 17, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids with Father Dennis Wieland officiating.

Interment: St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Cemetery.
