Mary Jean "Jean" Bailey, 72, of Winter Haven, FL and Park Rapids died Thursday, March 10, 2007.
She was born Jan. 8, 1935 to Lyle and Opal Evans of Waubun.
She was retired from teaching at the Osseo Schools and spent summers at her cabin at Palmer Lake near Park rapids and win-ters in winter Haven, FL.
Surviving are her chil-dren, Barbara (Michael) Gardner, Beth (Mike) Bai-ley-Allen and Thomas (Cynthia); a brother and sis-ter-in-law, Drs. John and Geraldine Evans; nine grandchildren and two nephews.
Her husband, Rev. Robert B. Bailey, preceded her in death.

She was a member of PEO and Hubbard United Meth-odist Church and church choir.
Celebration services: April 9 at Brooklyn United Methodist Church and at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27 at Hub-bard United Methodist Church. The choir will sing "Ain't-A-That Good News" and several of her family members will participate in the service with bassoons, singing and poetry.
Interment: Lakewood Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to Hubbard United Methodist Church.
