A man charged with having sex at a Hankinson bar has been sentenced after reaching a plea agreement.

Twenty-three year-old Joshua Fenske pleaded guilty to one count of fornication in a public place - a Class A misdemeanor.

Judge Richard Grosz signed off on the terms of the plea deal Monday.

Fenske was placed on one year of unsupervised probation, and was fined $2,000, with all but $500 suspended.

He was also ordered to pay $350 in court fees, perform 32 hours of community service, and undergo a chemical dependency evaluation.

Under the terms of his probation, Fenske is to refrain from using alcohol, and cannot enter the Spare Time Bar in Hankinson, where the crime occurred.

The woman Fenske had sex with - Adriane Diede of Breckenridge - also faces one misdemeanor count.

The Hankinson city council forced bar owner Roger Boutain to close his business for a week as punishment, even though he was not at the bar when the crime happened.
