The "person of interest" Moorhead police sought in connection with a double-homicide investigation is being held in the Becker County Jail on $250,000 bail in connection with a 2008 burglary charge.

Tracy Alan Zornes, 38, of Naytahwaush, Minn., was arrested Thursday night in rural Mahnomen County on warrants out of Becker, Itasca and Cass counties, and taken to the Clay County Jail in Moorhead.

He was sent to Becker County on Friday and made an initial court appearance Monday, where his bail was set at $250,000 cash or bond. It was the first time Zornes was in court for the alleged burglary, which occurred on June 20, 2007, according to court records.

Megan Londo, 25, of Naytahwaush and John Cadotte, 20, were found dead Feb. 19 at a Moorhead apartment that burned. An autopsy ruled the deaths as homicides.

Police have emphasized Zornes is not yet a suspect. Lt. Tory Jacobson said he isn't sure if Zornes cooperated with the investigators working the homicides.
