A 45-year-old man was found dead near his deer stand 8 miles north of Akeley. According to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office, Aaron Yund died of a natural cause.
Toxicology results are still pending, said Don Gorrie, Ramsey County Medical Examiner spokesman.
The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office received a call from Timothy Yund, of Andover, reporting the death of his brother, Aaron Yund, of Columbia Heights, around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
CPR was performed and Aaron Yund was transported to St. Joseph's Area Health Services, where he was later pronounced dead.
Aaron Yund was hunting with four other males in the Akeley area. His body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office, where an autopsy is being performed.
