Man charged with kicking out squad car window

Wallace William Weaver, 39, of 25555 354th St., White Earth has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony first-degree criminal damage to property for allegedly kicking out the back window of a squad car.

He is also charged with felony fourth-degree assault on a peace officer - transfer of bodily fluids, for allegedly spitting in the face of a police officer that was helping arrest him.

He is also charged with misdemeanor fifth-degree assault.

According to court records:

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, Weaver allegedly went to a man's house, was disruptive, and ended up punching him in the face.

He had apparently been inhaling spray paint, for he had silver paint on his face and hands when officers located him a short ways away. He was not cooperate and kicked and spit at the officers when they tried to stop him. After he was arrested and placed in a squad car, he allegedly kicked out a window.

He appeared Tuesday before District Judge Peter Irvine, who signed an order of detention, and he appeared again Thursday before Judge Lisa Borgen.
