Nevis students earn college degrees

Eight students from Nevis High School graduated from Alexandria Technical and Community College with their Associate of Arts degree on May 11: Ian Ahrendt, Samara Walker, Tyler Lindow, Edison Kramer, Megan Lindow, Reese Mowel, Sonja Habedank and Marissa Engst.

Area graduates

Kaia Dunham of Akeley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education and human sciences from the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska.

Brittney McClellan of Laporte graduated recently with an associate degree in nursing from Northwest Technical College. McClellan was welcomed into the profession at a ceremony May 5 where pins were gifted by Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota.

Paige Myhre of Menahga and Tara Johanning of Osage recently graduated from the nursing program at Bemidji State University. Graduates from the nursing program were formally admitted into the profession during the pinning ceremony, held on May 5.
