031523.E.PRE.KaijaNevala.jpg — Seventh grader Kaija Nevala is a March 2023 student of the month at Century Middle School. She was nominated by physical education teacher Baylee Gartner, who said, "Kaija comes to class with a positive attitude and always tries her best. She is respectful, kind and helpful to her classmates. She is a positive influence in the classroom. She elevates the classroom environment with her sense of humor and enthusiasm."

031523.E.PRE.ChristianThorson.jpg — Eighth grader Christian Thorson is a March student of the month at Century Middle School. His nomination by English teacher Gabriel Claussen says, "Christian has shown outstanding academic and athletic improvement this year. In his language arts class he has shown his ability to be a natural leader. His dedication to swimming has earned him the opportunity to swim in some varsity events as an 8th grader. Christian is deeply involved in the Park Rapids school district and will be an important asset when he arrives at the high school next year."
