Just for Kix takes 1st place ribbon at Wahpeton

The Park Rapids Just for Kix earned ribbons in seven routines in the Together We Dance competition Saturday, March 12 in Wahpeton.

“We had another incredible weekend,” said director Kaitlin Popanda.

The following teams achieved high scores:

  • The Mini Kix team (grades 4-5) placed first with their routine “Bailar.” 
  • Wee Kix (grades 2-3) placed second with “Can You Feel It” and fourth with “We Found Love.” 
  • Mini Hip Hop (grades 4-6) had a second-place routine with “Run This Remix.” 
  • Middle Kix (grades 6-8) took third place with their routine “Applause.” 
  • Middle Lyrical (grades 6-8) placed third with “Hang On a Little Longer.” 
  • Junior Hip Hop (grades 7-12) placed fourth with “Lose Control.”
