Park Rapids Lion Zelda Novak noticed that the Hackensack Lions Club recently collected new diapers and wipes to help local families. “I thought that’s a neat idea,” she said.
As a result, the Park Rapids Lions Club set up a similar collection point on Sept. 19 at the Coborn’s parking lot. Donations will help families at Pregnancy Resource Center and MAHUBE.
“Young parents can’t afford to buy diapers,” said Lion Dick Kimball.
