Lila Mae Derby, 84, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
She was born May 1, 1923 to Arthur and Velma (Jenson) Westby in Park Rapids.
She married Gerald Derby June 21, 1941. They lived in Pequot Lakes and worked in various jobs. She moved into the nursing home in 2006.
She is survived by a brother, Irvin of Twin Valley; sister, Lena "Dolly" Bernard of Nisswa; sister-in-law, Betty Westby of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Earl in Vietnam; and two brothers, Victor and Hans.
