Work on underage
drinking continues
On behalf of the Youth Issues Network (YIN), we would like to thank the Park Rapids Enterprise for the great coverage they provided on our Town Hall meeting that addressed the risks of underage drinking. We would also like to thank Northwoods Bank for the use of their community room. Thanks to all the panel members - Pam Kaseman, Rachel Mueller, Lindsay Hejhal, Lisa Coborn, Erika Randall, Gary Mills and Terry Eilers, who gave us a look at what is happening in our community regarding underage drinking. As it was stated during the meeting, it is a community effort to address underage drinking.
Parents play a huge role in helping determine whether or not a child chooses to drink. If we continue to work together we can make a difference in the lives of the children in Hubbard County.
