Trap shoot won't change standing
I found it interesting that Mary Olson needed front-page coverage in the Bemidji Pioneer recently to get her views on the 2nd Amendment cleared up. It seems during the recent debate with Sen. Carrie Ruud, she voiced her displeasure with receiving an "F" or a "?" from the National Rifle Association (NRA). She wants us to believe that the trap shoot she held shortly after the debate was a coincidence and that she is a strong proponent of hunting rights.
Two things Ms. Olson, the 2nd Amendment has little to do with hunting rights as told to you by Sen. Ruud. And if this issue is so important to you, why did you fail to fill out the questionnaire you received from the NRA on this issue thus resulting in your poor rating?
