President Ronald Reagan used this line to communicate to the American people every time Jimmy Carter lied about the Reagan record. I think it would be appropriate if President Bush or Speaker Dennis Hastert used the line, "There she goes again," when Nancy Pelosi speaks.

Recently, after Cong. Mark Foley's resignation; house member Nancy Pelosi promised to clean up what she calls a "swamp" of congressional problems when the Democrats take over control of the House and she becomes Speaker of the House. That is not an honest comment when one looks at the following facts from the San Francisco Democrat's record.

Pelosi voted three times to make a convicted page sexual predator, former congressman Gerry Studds (D-MA), chair of a congressional committee.

In 1990, Pelosi voted against censuring Cong. Barney Frank for having his live-in boyfriend run a prostitution ring from Frank's apartment.

Pelosi raised no objections when Clinton pardoned Cong. Mel Reynolds (D-IL), who had been convicted of felonies for having had sex with a 16-year-old campaign worker.

I think the record is crystal clear about who has been tough in stopping sexual predators and who has promoted and protected sexual predators; it has not been the Democratic party. Nancy Pelosi, the liberal Democrat from San Francisco, of all people, should not be lecturing the congress about cleaning up congress.

I certainly make no apology for Foley's conduct. The disgraced Foley immediately resigned under pressure; as should all sexual deviates.

Let's elect men of character on Nov. 7. Vote for Mark Kennedy and Rod Grams - we do not want Nancy Pelosi to be "Speaker of the House."
