A big "thank you" to everyone who came to tour and enjoy the Haunted House on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 and 25. You are the reason we do this every year. Your donations of canned goods added about 40 more pounds of food to the local food shelf. A special "thanks" to Super One of Walker, Teal's of Cass Lake and Laporte Gas & Service for their donations. Thank You to all the "players," we appreciate your hard work and dedication, your costumes and makeup. Thank you to the set-up and teardown crews for all their hard work. Thank you to the Laporte-Benedict Lions for doing the advertising and sponsoring of the Haunted House. Thank you to the city of Laporte and all the volunteers that helped make this celebration possible.
