Letters: Thank you for successful benefit

We would like to thank everyone who helped with the benefit for Bev Jacobson Sept. 21. The benefit was a tremendous success. An event such as this does not happen without a tremendous amount of help and effort from many people.

We would like to thank everyone who helped with the benefit for Bev Jacobson Sept. 21. The benefit was a tremendous success. An event such as this does not happen without a tremendous amount of help and effort from many people.

Whether you attended the benefit, helped work, donated an item for the silent auction, or made a monetary donation, we want you to know that your generosity is very appreciated. An event such as this says a lot about the Park Rapids Area Community. A special thanks goes out to J&B Foods, The Trading Post, Citizens National Bank, Northwoods Bank, State Bank of Wadena, The Enterprise and KXKK Radio Station. Twenty percent of the dollars raised will be used to help in the fight against cancer. The remainder will be used to help provide care for Bev. Thank you very much!
