Joe the plumber, playing ball with his son, approaches presidential candidate Obama walking his street and asks Sen. Obama a question regarding his tax proposal. The question and answer, after becoming public, puts doubt in peoples' minds about the wisdom of Obama's distribution of wealth plan. Consequently, the news media and probably Obama's staff and supporters swarm unto Joe to discredit him by delving into his private life, which has nothing to do with the simple question asked.

These same liberals sent 30 or more investigators to Alaska to seek character assassination material to use against vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Why doesn't the news media use their investigative power to report findings on Sen. Obama's questionable activities and relationships with people that hate or want to destroy this country? Also, why doesn't the media do investigative reporting on those Democrats responsible for our current financial crisis, those in positions of leadership to do something about the lending agencies' questionable activities before developing into a crisis hurting our people and economy.

It is apparent to me that winning this election is so important to the liberals that they are willing to let our economy and people suffer by allowing the financial crisis to happen and by not allowing increases in our oil supply by denying off shore and ANWAR drilling.

The Democratic controlled Congress is the group making or not making laws and developing or not developing solutions and spending taxpayer dollars, not the president. The president implements and administers action of Congress.

Disregard what the liberal media is telling us and think about what will happen to us if the current liberal leadership retains control of Congress and we also get a liberal president such as Obama. Taxes and spending will increase as promised and more of our hard earned money will be distributed to those less ambitious or fortunate.
