We will be voting yes for this year's school referendum just as we have in the past.
The situation in our schools has continually declined, and there is no more the school administration or staff can do to stop the downfall if this referendum does not pass.
Our oldest son started 1st grade in the old Frank White with 16 students in his class. Now he is lucky to be in our beautiful new school, but has 31 kids in his class. No matter if a student is very bright, average or needs extra help there is no way a teacher can give each child the necessary help and attention with classes so large. The time needed to check each child's understanding of a concept taught in every subject is just not possible. Please vote yes now!
We would also like to thank the teachers and school staff for always giving their best. Thank you also to Mr. Chiodo for choosing to stay in Park Rapids and help get this referendum passed. Also, a huge thank you to all the Orange Cross volunteers and supporters who will be voting yes.
