As a small business owner for 27 years, I've always had a belief that a community can only thrive when its citizens make a living wage enabling them to support their families.
At a time when it is getting harder for American workers to make ends meet, I will be proud to vote for Rep. Brita Sailer. Brita voted to pass the first increase in the state minimum wage in over eight years.
Her opponent, Doug Lindgren, helped defeat a pay increase for Minnesota's low-wage workers when he was in office by voting against a minimum wage increase.
Vote Brita Sailer Nov. 7. She serves the working people of northern Minnesota.
