Public
thanks
At the end of each school year we always take time to publicly thank all the people who helped us bring a well-rounded education to our students.
We thank the parents who came into the classrooms to help and those who accompanied us on field trips.
We thank the PTA, the Park Rapids Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association and the School Forest Committee for funding our live arctic wolf presentation.

Thanks to the Mantrap Valley Conservation Club for continuing to supply the wood for our annual birdhouse project. Over the past 14 years, our fifth graders have constructed approximately 2,000 birdhouses.
This past winter the Turkey Federation added a new activity to our curriculum as some of our students helped release wild turkeys in the area. We thank them for the opportunity.
Our DNR staff and Soil and Water personnel are always willing to help us with outdoor projects. We appreciate their commitment and their willingness to share their expertise with us.
Finally, we thank the Enterprise for their continual coverage. It's exciting for kids to see their pictures in the newspaper. It's also important for the general public to see how our school and community have worked together to combine traditional classroom learning with hands-on activities to make education more personal, more enjoyable and more meaningful.
Thanks again from the fifth grade staff.
