I am a parent of a Panther football player. I, along with Karen Branstrom and Kathy Peterson, hosted a team dinner on Thursday night. I would like to commend these boys on how respectful they were. It wasn't just one or two; it was all of them.
I was told by some of the kids that their coach, Tom Ahrendt, told them to always remember that they represent the town, the school and their coach. I would like to say thank you to Tom Ahrendt and his coaching staff, not only for teaching the boys the love of the game but also for teaching them to be respectful.
I, for one, am very proud of these kids. What a shame it would be to lose such a wonderful program.
