Persing deserves much thanks
On behalf of the Park Rapids Early Childhood Initiative (PRECI), I want to commend Lisa Persing on her role as our Colossal Egg Hunt event organizer. She worked tirelessly to ensure a fun family day of activities.
Lisa met with many to share our vision for a playground at Heartland Park, a need we identified when the PRECI began. It has been a pleasure to work with her and watch how her enthusiasm for this project has encouraged an outpouring of support from the businesses and others. Our work is not done, but due to Lisa's efforts, the community's generosity and Hubbard County's support, we are 75 percent of the way there!
Thank you, Lisa, for the many smiling faces who left Heartland Park April 8 and will return someday to the new playground. You are our shining star "eggstraordinaire!"
