One privilege of being a legislator is that you get to do some pretty neat things, things that last forever. One of those memorable moments for me was a few years ago when I authored legislation to create lifetime hunting/fishing licenses (which, by the way, make great gifts).
Lifetime licenses are available to people of any age, but the younger the better in terms of long-term savings. The earlier you buy a lifetime license the sooner it will pay for itself.
Also, lifetime licensees are exempt from future fee increases so there will be big savings and convenience down the road.
