Library computers not for games

Last week when I stopped at the Park Rapids Library, I was surprised to see a couple people playing video games on library computers. Does that surprise you too?

I am categorically opposed to funding any additional computers for the proposed new Park Rapids Library. There is no comprehensible reason why I, as a taxpaying citizen, should have my tax money be used for library computers - so they can be used by individuals to play games.

Hello, this is a library. This is where you go to find and read books. The library does not need more computers as long as we can keep the gamers out.

I urge every Park Rapids citizen who uses our wonderful library for its intended educational purposes to oppose this funding.
