On Friday, Nov. 28, my husband had decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and hang some lights on the house for Christmas. He had taken our kids and two dogs outside to play. While he was putting some bows on the trees, the dogs and kids were playing. He had to go back to the garage for a ladder and extension cords. When he came out of the garage, he heard a vehicle on the road behind our house slow down. He didn't see the dogs so he began to call for them.
We have a 3-year-old and had an 8 ½-week-old miniature schnauzer. The 3-year-old came without the pup. She is a multi-colored mini with a pink collar and no tags as she was too young for her rabies or distemper shots. This was the first time Dollie had gotten to play outside with our kids.
My husband began searching for her, not wanting to believe someone would take her.
We made phone calls, placed an ad on the radio, went door-to-door asking our neighbors if anyone had seen her, and now in the paper pleading for her return.
My kids have been through enough with their only grandfather being in the hospital about two weeks and their last puppy dying in September. Now this. Please return her. We will ask no questions. We just want her home.
