'Illegals' should be kicked out

In the April 15 issue of the Enterprise, Robert Munneke quoted Cardinal Roger Mahoney. Bad move. Mahoney, along with other cardinals, didn't mind breaking the law when they overlooked the sexual predacious behavior of many of their priests. Now, Mahoney is willing to break the law again by going to bat for illegal immigrants. Once a lawbreaker, always a lawbreaker.

Not only should we secure our borders and start kicking out illegal immigrants, we should start kicking out their supporters, like Mahoney and that Mexican mayor of Los Angeles.

I recently spent several weeks in LA. It's like another country. Mexicans have taken over that city. You go to stores, gas stations, eating establishments, etc., it is difficult to communicate with the workers. Many of them speak little or no English and make anyone not of their ilk feel like an outsider.

And what's with these demonstrators who go around waving Mexican flags? If Mexico is such a great country, why did they come to big, bad America? Mexico is a poverty-stricken, Third World country that leads the world in murder, rape and corruption. And we should welcome people to America? To further overburden our schools, housing, highways, job market, etc.

There is no compromise on the immigration issue. Illegal means breaking the law. Mahoney and his thugs should be shown the door.
