Tresa, I've known Park Rapids for over 41 years and lived here for 26 of those. I was deeply moved by your "Voting preferences none of your business" opinion piece in the Nov. 12 edition of the Park Rapids Enterprise. I began years ago hearing about Barack Obama. I watched him, read his books, learned about his family - and goals ... and what those who knew him thought of him.

I so enjoyed your "theory of residue" because I believed Barack Obama would be our president - the right man / at the right time / for the right reasons. Your writing perfectly expressed the beauty of this moment in time from "your light" to "all of ours." I honor your (and my) father-daughter bond, as I honor your decision to speak out. It is a generous sharing and a brave challenge done respectfully with the quantum touch of spirituality I so often see in others.
