When I vote "yes" for the school referendum on Nov. 7, I will do so not only for students in the Park Rapids School District but for the welfare of residents of area communities.
If we don't support our schools it will impact the hospital's ability to draw potential physicians, nurses and other professionals to our area.
I believe that not only won't we be able to attract professional people to the area, but that professionals already working here will take their families and leave. It will only be a matter of time before our healthcare would be negatively impacted.
